We don't contact you by phone, meeting invites, or email addresses that are not originated from @showmelocal.com

Thank you for reaching out to our support team at Showmelocal.com. To ensure a smooth and efficient support experience, please follow these guidelines:

  • Most Issues Can Be Fixed by Claiming the Business Listing:

    • Showmelocal.com is a self-served directory, and many problems can be resolved by claiming the relevant business listing.
  • Requests for Already Claimed Listings:

    • If the listing is already claimed (you do not see the claim button), all requests must be initiated from the actual business owner's email.
    • Please use the business owner's email; generic or agency emails are not accepted.
    • "On behalf of" requests are also not supported.
    • Reset password if needed.
  • Updating Account:

    • If you are the account holder, log in to your account to update the information.
  • Claiming and Updating Listings:

    • If the listing is available to claim, please do so and update the information accordingly.
    • Use the actual business owner's email in the general business info section.
    • You can use your agency email as a registered user account.
  • Removal of Duplicates:

    • When requesting the removal of duplicates, include the correct and preferred listing URL.
  • Submitting a New Listing:

    • If the listing does not exist, use our submission form to add your business.
  • Compliance with Guidelines:

    • Requests not in line with these guidelines may not receive a response.
    • Communication must remain respectful and courteous at all times.
    • Use of offensive, abusive, derogatory, or discriminatory language will result in the conversation being closed or service restricted.
  • Email Support Availability:

    • We offer support by email only.
    • Always include the listing URL for faster assistance.
    • Our team will do their best to assist you promptly.
  • Why Phone Support Is Not Offered:
    • Streamlined Support: All communication is documented and traceable for better clarity and resolution tracking.
    • Security & Verification: Written confirmation is required for sensitive actions like billing or cancellation.
    • Minimized Miscommunication: Written requests reduce errors and ensure consistency.
    • Team-Based Handling: Multiple agents may assist in resolving your request; tickets provide shared access.
    • Platform Alignment: Written support aligns with your dashboard activity and data history-critical for accurate assistance.
    • 24/7 Submission: Requests can be sent anytime and are tracked within our system for accountability.
